Our service treats many conditions that affect mobility or where mobility has declined through temporary illness. CCPS aims to help those with reduced mobility to achieve their optimum potential.

We offer Home visit treatments for:

  • Detailed assessment and advice for any joint, nerve or muscle injuries and treatment using manual therapy techniques such as Mobilisations, Massage, Electrotherapy and exercise
  • Exercise and advice to help the less mobile regain greater freedom of movement
  • Back care – treatment and advice on back pain including mobilisation techniques, self treatment regimes and home ergonomic assessment to help prevent problems re-occurring
  • Falls prevention service and exercises to improve balance. Gary has trained as a Postural Stability Instructor
  • Advice to prevent altered body shape through immobility
  • Specialist seating advice and rentals (*conditions apply) for those who have poor sitting posture or are bed bound
  • Manual Handling Training and advice
  • Physiotherapy for persons suffering with dementia
  • Talks on aspects of physiotherapy including posture care and back pain
  • Specialist wheelchair advice and hire for those who can not sit in a normal wheelchair
  • Rentals and training in use of Specialist Standing hoists and aids, including including the Arjo Encore (Updated version now called the Sara Plus) and the Handicare SystemRomedic QuickMove
  • Disability static exercise bike hire (Reck MOTOmed – leg section only)
  • Ergonomic assessment for posture in the home and small businesses
  • Handling plan progression
